Allergies?

I may have a slight allergy to dust or something. My head keeps getting stuffy in this room. I wish I had some kind of knowledge about allergies to household allergens. It would be a lot easier to get some kind of allergy relief if I knew it was an allergy or if it wasn’t just a stuffy nose. Alas, I’ll just try to suffer through it for now.

Wal mart trips!

I love Wal-mart. It’s familiar territory in Texas. They have the most awesomest self check outs with the little barcode scanner so that we can just check ourselves out when we don’t want to deal with people. I like going to those, personally. I like my stuff bagged certain ways and handled certain ways sometimes. And sometimes the best way you can do something, is to do it yourself.

Ahh Texas

So warm. So nice. There’s like, two inches of snow on the ground – mostly melted. It’s so pretty. I keep getting warned that I’ll ‘hate’ it during the summer but I’m sure it’ll be fine. It can’t be worse than Iowa. Or it can and I’ll suffer. Oh well! Jobs are jobs, regardless of weather. I’m really happy down here. It’s nice. Spencer and I went to Avatar the first week I was down here. It was awesome. He’s been showing me around town and I’m actually starting to ‘get’ it. I know how to get most places around town.

Oh, Law & Order: SVU is back on. Bye!

Fat chicks

I’ve never been a skinny chick. It’s just now who I’ve been. Now I’m trying to eat healthy and exercise right and all of that, but sometimes it just isn’t enough. You won’t see me googling up “weight loss surgery Mexico” any time soon, but I can see the appeal for sure. I still think it’s a bit of an ‘easy’ way out, even if the process isn’t as easy as it appears. The process has got to be pretty traumatic on the body, and being able to stick with it can be a bitch I hear. But for now, eating better and walking more is definitely going to have to do the trick.

And hey, if Angela can do it, so can I? Then again, she can do -anything-. She’s amazing. <3

Avatar!

I saw Avatar last night. It was really, really good. Spencer said it would be like an aspiring CGI animator’s wet dream and boy was it ever. I don’t want to say too much but they did a wonderful, wonderful job. I mean, I am astounded at the attention to detail they paid. I was really, really pleased with it. And it was an entertaining storyline as well. The CGI was really very seamless with the live action as well. Very happy Stacy!

Moving

So it’s… more or less official. We’re moving. I’m not going to give too many details here, because I’ve talked about it elsewhere. But we are. I’m excited. Nervous, anxious, throwing-up-from-my-nerves-going-ninety-miles-an-hour but excited. But, as per any move, it got me looking at home furnishings and stuff. Does anybody else do that? Look at all these pretty things they could put in their fantasy home?

Things like Murray Feiss lightning and different cabinets? I really love the design of most of the Murray Feiss stuff. So elegant. Maybe someday I’ll be able to buy them and put them in different rooms in my fantasy house.
