Tired
A vacation would be so nice. I can imagine that's what S is thinking, since he's coming up here for a sort of vacation. But Iowa isn't really the place to go for a vacation. It'd be much cooler for him to have one of those orlando vacations or something. Go somewhere nice for him. But he wants to come here, and I'm pretty okay with that. 
He's a nice guy, so it'll be fun to spend a week with him and just hang out.

Iphone
Jeremy's birthday is coming up. It'll be his 21st. I wish I could do something nice for his birthday, but I don't even know what he'd like. I know he wanted an iphone, but I don't think he has one yet. It's unfortunate because if he did, I could just buy him new iphone accessories. I could just take him out for his first drink at a bar, but I have no desire to go to bars and I'm not entirely sure he does either.
Ugh. What do you do for a 21 year old male on his birthday?!

Routers
So I put a password on my router once, back when I had a Linksys router. I don't remember what router I have now, but I can't figure out how the eff to set it up again. I probably should start with figuring out which brand of router I have, huh?
I wonder if there's a place that gives like, step by step information about how to do things like that.

Computer chairs
I've never been a fan of office furniture. Traditional computer chairs, desks, that sort of thing. Right now I'm using this awesome futon as a 'computer' chair. it's so comfortable. Plus, it's a bed too! A big-ish bed. It works out real well. Next month, when S spends the week with me, there will be plenty of sleeping space, which is one thing I was worried about. Three bedroom townhome, but still not enough space sometimes!

Post office!
So instead of keeping stamps at home where Corbin can play with them, we go to the post office and buy them when we need them. He always seems to find them, wherever they are put away, so it's easier. There was someone there buying a shipping box for some package they were sending out. I never realized that you could buy custom shipping packages from outside sources though. Little boxes, big boxes.. All custom sized to fit what you need.

The 4400
So I've been watching The 4400 re-runs lately and it's such a great show. Coming up on watching the last season and it's just really cool. I love the concept of the show. People from the future taking people from the past and re-injecting them to try to make the world better. It's really kind of poetic in a way. The last season breaks my heart a little though. Just so much sadness. I wish it were still running. Of course, I wish a lot of canceled shows were still running. I love the stories that they could tell.

Backing up your hard drive
There are a lot of different ways to back up the important things that you want to save. Pictures, albums, songs, videos. All of that can easily be stored in different places but today I want to talk about doing an online backup of your drive. Packages of whatever size you need.. all available for affordable prices. It's a great way to store things that you don't want to lose, or even a great way to transfer data from one hard drive to another. Just upload it, get on the other hard drive and download it. It's a pretty great solution if you ask me.

Cameras
I used to have this wonderful digital camera. It was silver and worked really well. That is, of course, until Corbin broke it. So then I went searching for digital cameras and it was really cool. Now I have this really cute little blue one. It takes really awesome pictures and it's nice and small and simple. Corbin even likes taking pictures with it and it's easy for him to do so. Of course he just ends up taking pictures up his nose or of his feet or something, but it's terribly adorable. They're pictures I save just because they're really cute to look at.

Training
I have an appointment next week with a student adviser so I can start asking questions. And I wondered if you need prior training to go to a medical assistant training school. I've been reading a lot about all sorts of different training schools and where to go and what things to do and it's all very curious and really interesting. How the school systems work. How the degrees work. How everything about the different school systems work is really wonderful to read about.

Weight loss
I've been going on a lot of walks lately. Just enjoying the weather, and walking around outside. It's been so long since I've went for a walk, and just enjoyed myself and the weather and the walking. It's funny. Whenever I think about weight loss pills that work, I think about those commercials of really skinny women taking longs walks, smiling and laughing. They look really content. It's good to portray the image of walking and equating that with happiness and enjoyment.
