Found it!
I found it. It took me a few weeks but I finally found it. The ever-elusive (at least in this economy) job! It's not the best in the world, but it's a job. With pay. In a few months I get a raise. I'm pretty happy about it. It felt like it took forever to find a job but I finally did it. Thanks to a lot of helpful utilities online and offline and some great, supportive people. Oh, and moving helped a bit too.

Wow.
Big city life is a lot more interesting than expected. Already have I heard about a few different major cases of death and fires and stuff. Oh, and we drove by this funeral home that seemed like they were having funerals every other day. Which led to an interesting conversation between Mom and I about funeral costs. We were both talking about how we wanted to be buried when we died. She and I both feel that whatever is cheapest for the family is what we want. Neither of us care about a big ceremony or anything. Just something easy for our family to 'let us go'.
So, of course, in true Stacy style, I told her that I was just going to throw her out in a ditch!
