Spencer’s sick :(
Poor guy. In his efforts to take care of me when I was sick, he's now fallen ill as well. I need to run him over some Nyquil and give him some cuddles or something tonight. That would require that I put on real clothes. That doesn't sound very fun. Oh well. Poor darling needs some taking care of too.

Drug rehab
I saw a commercial the other day for celebrity drug rehab. It made me so sad. I know that things are so accessible when you have that kind of affluence but I wish more people would just say no to that kind of thing. There's nothing that drugs are going to get you that is actually good and stable. It would be wonderful if there was more readily accessible, private rehab centers that a person with a problem could just go to without fear of being exposed. It's really disappointing that people aren't more accepting and helpful to recovering addicts.

Moving to Texas was… less expensive than expected!
Before we moved down here, a few months prior, we started looking into moving quotes and how much things were going to cost. Thankfully we were very lucky in being able to pack everything up and move down here without it costing an arm and a leg. I did see a lot of quotes that were ridiculously expensive though. Ouch! Now we're on to looking at some more stable apartments (we're in some temp housing right now!) and getting more settled now that I have a job!

Phew
Seems like the weight loss product fads have all died down and the only ones remaining are the ones that actually help out. I'm so thankful for that because now I don't have to listen to all sorts of people trying new products or all the scary byproducts that come with it. The scary stories of people getting sick or worse from products that weren't thoroughly tested are the worst. They always make me so very sad.

Acne scars?
Does anybody suffer from acne scars? Does anybody know how to remove acne scars or make them less visible? I don't on both accounts, but I thought it was interesting. My skin isn't the smoothest ever but it's not riddled with scars either. I'm very lucky in that light. Hopefully I never have to find out about it either!

So sick.. wtf
No more sick please! Stomach bug went around that had a head cold/sinus cold attached with it and Corbin got it, then I got it. Thank goodness for two days off and a helpful Grandma! I got to sleep a lot (and Corbin slept some of it with me too!) and that helped speed up my recovery. Though I ended up having to use some Nyquil, which admittedly is not one of the best sleep aids but it's helpful either way. That stuff knocks you out a little bit too hard for my liking. Though, here's to feeling better!

Dry hands
I have been battling dry hands since I started working again. It's so dry here in Lubbock. I can't complain at all. It's better than terrible, terrible snows all the time! Though I've now been watching out for different types of lotion. Hand lotion, body lotion, MSM lotion (like stuff at www.msmlotion.net). Did you know that they have studies out that show that MSM is helpful for osteoarthritis treatment? That's pretty awesome, considering I know a few people who suffer from osteoarthritis.

Sara Rue!
Did you guys see that Sara Rue is a new spokeswoman for Jenny Craig? Gosh, she is absolutely adorable, isn't she? I would love being in her shoes and being able to get paid to do commercials and a jenny craig review. That would be so neat. She's totally adorable too. There's a few pictures of her floating about and she looks absolutely fabulous. She looks amazing regardless of her size but dang, girl. Losing a few pounds never hurt anybody. Well, except maybe anorexic people.....

How embarassing
I review things from time to time. I don't mind it. It's actually kind of neat and interesting. I also like to read other people's reviews of products. But how embarrassing would it be to do some colonix reviews. Colon cleansing is not exactly something I would like to spend my time reviewing, analyzing and writing about. Maybe that's just me though!

Acne :(
I've been breaking out. I'm not at the point of using a special acne medicine but it sucks. It's probably because I'm outside often and getting dust blown at me and it's clogging up my pores or something. It's annoying nonetheless. That's the big thing I don't like about where I work now. Everything is so dusty. Yuck! Oh well, washing my face a lot helps.
